Weekly Developer Update #6
This last two weeks have been really important. We have been working hard to bring Tokens, NFTs and Multiplayer as soon as possible! So, you haven’t heard from us in the past few days, but worry not Commanders! We just want to make sure Cosmicrafts is a 5-star product for you to have. SHIPS SKILLS, COLLECTIONS SYSTEM, MULTIPLAYER ALMOST READY
Developing the foundations of ships and a skill collection system was a good challenge, but the team is pleased with the results and we hope it will be released soon, so that players can test it out. The system is finally ready to receive NFTs from players in future versions, making it rounder and multiplayer ready.
In all complex systems, such as the player’s collection, it is very common for many errors to appear in the tests. That is why this week we have been coordinating efforts with the person in charge of the blockchain to correct and polish every detail or possible errors that we could find. It was quite a tedious task since the system is large and with a lot of code. Some bugs seemed to only exist in production and not in testing which made them very difficult to find.
We will probably find more bugs, but we will continue polishing this new system day by day. In addition we will keep pushing forward multiplayer and characters collection’s. We plan to have a more stable version so we can publish it as soon as possible.
PLUG WALLET, STOIC WALLET & SCORE TOKEN
This week we will work on the implementation of Plug Wallet and direct Stoic Wallet connection!
These will help us share with you the Score Token we have been working on! Bad news is, it won’t be the Spiral token. Spiral will be available a few weeks later!
The Score Token is an awarded token to players from each game they win, it will be equivalent to the amount of “Score” they get at the end of each match and will have no value as a cryptocurrency, but it will have several uses in-game.
Also this will help us establish the base for the Spiral Token, the functions it will have and the way that can be used.
Besides, we managed to fix a bug that took a few days to solve about increasing size on the canister data and that means several new features are coming!
Finally for this week we continue to establish the base and develop the firsts connections for the Multiplayer!
As from art, we have been working on many different things!
Soon, we will start to send invites to our Public Test Realm (Cosmicrafts PTR) where we will be trying out the newest features, although it might be unstable, you can actually play and give us some feedback about it.
We added a new section called “Collection” that has many uses, let’s take a look at what we can do over there.

- Create your own “Deck” or “Fleet” with 8 units
As for the tokens, we’re working on how game rewards would look like.
Also designing the features these tokens will have, like minting, burning and transfer properties.
So far we’ve got the score token that is being built to mint and send the score you’ve got in the game as tokens to your wallet and hopefully you will be able to try it soon.
